Commodore Sherwood Shaplin	Position Open

Commodore Shaplin acts as the USS T'hy'la's Commanding Officer. Within Fleet Command Shaplin acts as the Director of the Federation Academy, Director of the Fleet Awards, And Director of the Diplomatic Corps.

Commodore Shaplin is a member of the IFT Council and has written and co-written many Federation Academy as well as IFT Manuals. Most notably is The Commanding Officer's Handbook. This 100 page text contain perhaps the most detailed inclusive materials on Star Trek uniforms, rank insignia, and the insignia's correct placement on the uniform. Every time period of Star Trek is covered in this manual.

Commodore Shaplin is married and has 2 children and 7 grandchildren. He and his wife live in the Blue Ridge mountains in Pennsylvania's north eastern section when he is not on assignment aboard the USS T'hy'la.

Captain Sexton joined IFT in February of 1996, and since that time has went from an Ensign on the USS George Washington (out of Indianapolis), working his way up to Chapter Commander of the USS Agamemnon (originally out of Indianapolis), then to the GEO Executive Officer and then to the GEO Commanders Position.

He married his wife Angela in November of 2005 in Clayton, Indiana, (a suburb of Indianapolis). He currently is living in Anderson Indiana.
