Greetings and welcome to the International Federation of Trekkers Academy.

We, at the Academy, pride ourselves in offering IFT's membership a host of courses that entertain as well as educate.

Each curriculum is an ongoing work in progress.The School of Command has a nice 3 course program as is. However in a constant effort to improve the Academy a host of new courses will soon by added to the School of Command. The purpose of these courses is to educate you and your staff so that the running of your chapter, GEO, Division, or Territory will be a pleasant and prosperous venture.

The Academy is ever on the look out for new courses and new Deans for it's various schools. Even as the Command and the Alien study program are growing by leaps and bounds, a need is greatly needed in improving the Science and the History departments offerings.

As you look through this site, should you become aware that perhaps you could make an offering to a school of study, please feel free to contact me to start the ball rolling on writing a course of study for the Academy. I am always excited and truly greatful for new courses that are offered to the Academy.

A topic that I feel that I need to address here is the reason for payment for Academy courses.IFT Command inccurs cost from mailings of new memberships packages and material fees for convention materials - from tables to banners. IFT keeps fees down for members so that monetary outputs from members can be a minimum. The Academy course fees add to the funds that are held in the treasury. Because of these funds new materials can be purchased to make IFT convention booths look professional and be appealing to new perspective members. The fee that you pay for a course is like a donation to IFT's future continued success. Two good results come from the purchase. You receive a chance to be educated or entertained, and you also help to support the organization that you decided to join.

As a benefit for the purchase, a certificate of completion is issued to you upon satisfactory completions of a course as well as an oportunity to purchase a ribbon that displays your accomplishment on your uniform. A full explanation of the Academy Fleet Awards program can be found on this site.
