Our Meetings Our meetings are on the first Saturday of each month and are at the CO's home most of the time. However, if there is a conflict, we move to suit the most members. We do a "It's a Good Time to Dine" once a month as a takeoff on Worf's saying "It's a good time to die." We have an informal chat about things in the Trek world, and enjoy good company and good food. Dutch treat. We have a bridge officers meeting once each month and a meeting with the CO and CMO at least once a month. History of the USS Cascade NFC-0301 The Cascade was given as a payment to the Federation from Sigma Iotia II as “A Piece of the Action” owed by contract between J. T. Kirk of the Enterprise on stardate 4598.0 and the leaders of this planet. After the USS Horizon had left a book describing the gangs of old Chicago that the S.I. culture was based upon, the communicator that Dr. McCoy of the Enterprise left behind was analyzed and a new advanced society developed. It was felt that petition for entry into the Federation was premature but some clearing of the contract was in order, ergo the Cascade. The USS Cascade is an exact duplicate of the Galaxy Class Starship Enterprise NCC 1701-D, except it has cloaking capability. Vessel type: Explorer, Hybrid Saucer Module Primary / Engineering Secondary. This is a copy of the Utopia Planitia Starfleet Yards, Mars model with 42 decks. The Cascade was commissioned 35 years ago and this is her fourth Commanding Officer. The present crew has been together for three years and the crew and CO have not been battle tested but have served honorably and been extremely successful in the diplomatic missions it has been assigned.
