Executive Officer: Commander Khysunja Frisella Currently I am working at Marcus High School as a Pre-AP and Regular Chemistry teacher for roughly ten years. I also work at North Lake College at nights in majors Biological Science. Somehow I find time to take care and try to raise two children, a three year old and a nine month old. Of course, my husband and rest of my family help out a lot. My past includes graduating with Honors at UNT in Biological

Science (minoring in mathematics and chemistry) with a BS. I have finished many hours in graduate work in the same field... more towards genetics... and am currently finishing up my final paperwork for an MS at Texas A&M Commerce. As far as hobbies, these have changed over the years. In highschool, I was in the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Senator for Youth in Government, and even danced in Drill Team. In college, I was on the fencing team and enjoyed dancing. I now hold the position of executive officer of the USS Cascade NFC0301. I love spending time with my family and trekking. I am dedicated to my church, family and jobs. Thus, I don’t have a whole lot of “spare” time. I am a trekker due to my father. As a kid, when he would come home from a hard day’s work, Star Trek came on the television. We would lay on the floor on our stomachs and watch it together. I have always been interested in these clubs and actually never thought I would have the opportunity to be a part of one.

When things slow down, I enjoy cooking, sleeping, camping and watching an episode or two of Star Trek. On most occasions, I enjoy being dad and husband.
