GEO 1 Command Headquarters

Ranks are awarded for time in position and performance by the CO after evaluation from the First Officer and the Ships Councilor and after ratification from his superiors. As part of the IFT will follow a rank structure. The rank structure is as follows.  While some of the ranks are not standard military ranks i.e. Fleet Captain, we have it in place as an IFT policy

Cadet Ranks:
Per the IFT Bylaws Section 3.7 Paragraph 4 "All members of the Corporation below the age of sixteen (16) years will carry the qualifier "Cadet" immediately before their title of rank." An example of this is "A Cadet Commander will move up to the first Fully Enlisted Adult rank which would be Ensign. The rank of Ensign is a promotion... not a demotion, for now the cadet has all of the same privileges as the other adult officers.

Enlisted: (All Petty Officer Ranks are referred to as merely Petty Officer Name. Chief Petty and above are referred to as Chief, Senior Chief and Master Chief)

Warrant Officers (Starfleet/Starfleet Marines):
Warrant officers hold their position by 'Warrant', and are considered to outrank all Enlisted grades. Warrant Officers are generally found heading sub-departments such as Transporter Systems or Marine Platoons.
