GEO 1 Command Staff:

GEO Commander,
Captain Wayne Sexton Duties:
-
The GEO (Geographical Extension of Operations) Commanders will be consultant directors [non-executive officers] of the Corporation having an advisory non voting role, except at certain times, as
expressed in the IFT Bylaws.
-
It will be the duty of a GEO Commander to
act as a regional representative of the Corporation, the parameters
of said region to be determined by the Federation Council.
The GEO Commander will also keep in monthly
contact with the Chapters under there jurisdiction
The GEO Commander will also file a monthly
report with IFT Headquarters by the 20th of each month.

Biography: Captain Sexton is
currently, in addition to his GEO Commander responsibilities.
The CO of the USS Agamemnon, located in Central, Indiana.
He is also the Dean of Alien Cultures for the IFT Academy. He
is also the Director of the IFT Diplomatic Corps.
Captain Sexton joined IFT in February of 1996, and since that time has went from
a Cadet Ensign on the USS George Washington, working his way up to
Chapter Commander of the USS Agamemnon, then to the GEO Executive
Officer and then to the GEO Commanders Position,
in September 2004. When the
GEO's were re-aligned in August of 2007, he was transferred to the
GEO 1 Command, from the GEO 2 Command post he held. |

GEO Executive Officer, Sr.
Commander Nicholas May Duties:
1.
The GEO Executive Officer is the only member
of the GEO, other than the GEO Commander that can attend a Council
Prime meeting.
2.
Work with the GEO Chief Counselor on Quarterly
Evaluations on the GEO Command Staff and on the Chapter Commanders
for possible recommendations for promotions.
3.
Assemble an Monthly Report of all thing that
is going on in the GEO by the 15th of each month,
including any project that is going on in the GEO, any e-mail that
is received by the GEO Executive Officer

Biography: Sr. Commander May has
been an IFT member since 1997, starting out as a Cadet Ensign aboard
the USS George Washington, then working his way up Executive Officer
of the USS Agamemnon, the GEO 1 Flagship. Then while Executive
Officer of the USS Agamemnon, he was also named the FSC Deputy Chief
of Security. |

GEO Moral Officer, Captain Frank
Smith-Amolato Duties:
-
Create and distribute
incentives to deserving chapters and individuals based on
their participation in the GEO and its activities.
-
Talk with the members of the
GEO to learn what they expected from its leadership, and to
address any issues, concerns, complaints, and needs for
assistance they have, to the GEO Commander.
-
Develop, Implement, and
maintain a recognition system for events important to our
members such as birthdays and anniversaries.

Captain
Frank Smith-Amolato is the Commanding Officer of the USS Challenger
NFC-8601. He joined IFT in April of 2005 when he started
IFT-Cleveland which became the Challenger in June of that year, and
was given the rank of Commander 3.
In 2006 he applied for the posting of GEO 1 Morale Officer, when GEO
1 was under the command of Flt. Captain Erica Baun, a position that
he has held, for the past 3 administrations of this GEO. In March of
this year he was promoted to Captain 3 by Commodore Michael Timko |
