News - Wednesday, March 19 2008: I have some news for everyone hosted at IFT Communities. The server no longer supports filenames ending in ".php3". That is not a huge problem, just rename the end of the files to ".php" and update any links you have aiming at them. It is easy stuff. If you do not use PHP, then you can disreguard this message.
Thank you and sorry for any inconvenience this may have and might eventually cause.

News - Friday, August 17 2007: Fellow IFT Members,
Many of us find ourselves on the Internet day to day with nothing better to do than read the same news repeatedly. In an effort to help IFT members change that, I have created a new section on SpaceStation 51 (http://www.iftcommand.com/chapters/) called Entertainment. I have also begun affiliate exchanges with various other Star Trek web sites, these pertain to various different Star Trek PC games.
In an effort to build upon this first step, I have a question for you fellow IFT members. What Star Trek related game sites do you visit? It is all in hope to offer more variety to membership.
Once I have a small list going, I will try to make contact and create an affiliation or tie-in of some sort. I hope that the result will be that members realize they have a common interest and socialize. As our members are noticed by other communities, others may become interested and potentially join IFT. It is a nice circle.
The next possible step is creating various groups within IFT per game. Many of the game communities call them clans. IFT members could possibly participate in friendly competition against the other groups. This step will be discussed in the future.
If you have ideas or comments, please do not be afraid to share them with everyone.
Thank you.
Ambassador Anthony Haslage SpaceStation 51
P.S. The reason why I have not opened this offer to all forms of Star Trek entertainment is that there is just too many. The games are limited to normally GameSpy.Com servers.

News - Tuesday, July 24 2007: As of today, Tuesday, July 24, 2007, I have become an ambassador. I am in charge of reaching out to the Star Trek Gaming Community and hopefully introduce IFT members into the experience.
At this time it begins with SpaceStation 51 opening its Star Trek Armada section. I will then approach three web sites which first asked me to partake in their fun and invite them to an affiliationship. My hope is more will follow.

News - Saturday, July 7 2007: To All SpaceStation 51 Patrons,
It is July and that means a new fiscal year. That has nothing to do with this announcement, but it was the only opening I could come up with.
SpaceStation 51 is back up and running again. I either was not made aware of the web server move or simply forgot. So, for a little while the web site was down. I have since repaired the main site located via the URL below. In repairing that site I was also able to repair the PHP issues other sites were having without having to actually touch them. If you know anything about .htaccess files, you know what I mean.
http://www.iftcommand.com/chapters/
A few entire web sites and parts of other web sites were lost in the move. In addition, I had to use an old backup to restore the account access system and totally rebuild the news system. On the plus side, the report forms are back up via the IFTCCA link on the right bar. They will be available until Admiral Ison has completed the new forms on IFTWHQ.
If you find you can no longer log into the account access or news systems, please send me a message and we can resolve the issue. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
