ED 0203.21 Supplementle

Okay, it's official. The proceeds from our 50/50 raffle at Marcon 37 will go to benefit the Columbus Cancer Clinic. They are a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to researching, free testing, treatment and counseling of cancer patients in the Central Ohio area. They need volunteers for several areas of their organization, so look forward to further participation with this group.

It's drawing near.

Brent Spiner said in a recent interview that maybe the wait for Star Trek: Nemesis is worth it, that it is wheting peoples appetite for a new Next Generation adventure. Well, maybe he's right, because all I know is I can hardly wait. The image above was posted today by Trek Web. It is the official logo of the next feature film, due out this holiday season (I know, long time, huh).

I have made several changes and additions today so take a minute to check them out.

Everything is going smoothly this month. If scheduling works out well, we may have as many as three meetings this month. Also, for those of you who do not know, the Representative position will be going through some more changes. We'll be discussing this at meetings.

Well, the online meeting didn't quite work out as we expected, so we will be rescheduling. As soon as I hear from Acting Ensign Basileyo, I will post the new date and time. I will also send a mass email.

It looks like we will definately be at Barnes and Noble for our next meeting, but the time will change to 7:00pm, a half an hour earlier.

Oh, and I played Bridge Commander tonight. It is AWESOME!

On this day we remember those who are no longer with us as a result of the events of September 11, 2001. May we never forget.

ED 0203.09

Just a quick message to let everybody know that we have scheduled an online meeting for Wednesday March the 13th at 1:00am EST (2:00pm Filippino Time). This message is mostly for our foreign members, but all members and anyone interested in the Olympic are welcome to attend.

By the way, we may be looking to a popular book store in Columbus for a possible meeting place. Cool, huh? More on that in the future!
