CO's Welcome - U.S.S. T'hy'la

Welcome to the USS T’hy’la. I am the Commanding Officer on board the T’hy’la. I hope you will find your assignment here to be pleasant as well as rewarding and fulfilling.

We on the T’hy’la pride ourselves in striving to live the dream that is Gene Roddenberry’s Star Trek.

Although we are a Cybership Chapter, we function like an active chapter. The only difference is that all communications and activities are via the internet.

On the T’hy’la we actively participate in making the future world of Star Trek a reality.

It is my duty to oversee the functioning of the T’hy’la. All communications and orders that need to be carried out will be sent to Commander Slocum to be distributed to the Divisional Department heads. The Divisional Heads will convey that information to the Sectional Department Heads. Sectional Department Heads convey it to the crew. When there are projects you are not obligated to participate; however in the spirit of making our chapter strong I would hope that you would want to participate.

It you would please take a look at the list of available positions on the T’hy’la’s Staff page, you should be able to find a position that appeals to you. Please submit that position to Executive Officer via the communication form below. They will submit your request to me for consideration and approval.

Upon approval of your requested position, you will be assigned to a Department Chief for that Division, example: “I want to work on the newsletter. You would report to the Chief of Services”. Your chief will assign your duties and responsibilities to you.

On T’hy’la we like to run by the chain of command. However, you can ask a question of me when ever necessary via the communication form below.
