Is everyone enjoying
the hot, humid weather? I hope that you are not melting,
I know that I am.
As you all know, I have
been a little preoccupied lately with my son being
in Iraq. Of course, he thinks that I am over-reacting,
because he knows how to be safe. How many of those
unfortunate soldiers thought they knew how to be safe
also? He is upset with me for worrying but it's in
my Mom Job Description: "Worry about children,
no matter how old they are, or think they are."
Right, Moms!
The ship is still
recycling but people are starting to keep their
own cans and bottles so it is getting harder for my
hubby and dog to find those valuable pieces of plastic
and aluminum. We are also going to have some fun this
upcoming month, with the movie day to go see Alien
vs Predator and our annual trip to Jurassic
Trek. We will be posting the date for the
movie and I hope that everyone has already ordered
their tickets and shirts and possibly jackets for
Jurassic Trek.
August is a hot month
but the fun and wet on the Jurassic Park Ride is going
to feel very good, no matter how many times, or what
time of day we go. I am looking forward to going,
even though I will be going single this year, it is
too much for my husband, with the heat and the walking.
I will miss him, but he is encouraging me to have
a good time.
