Bonnie and Juanita, after checking out the flamingos. Joleen after doing the same. :-)
The obligatory group shot in front of the sign. Now one with me in it. Woohoo.
One of the cute little girls with Joleen and Tiffany. Rusty and Michael hit the shade. It's already getting hot!
Bonnie, Juanita, and Gene do the same. The gorgeous cerval at one of the interactive displays. Here she is eating a tidbit.
She circles the stump before finding a comfortable seat. On the train now, ready for our safari! The first thing we see are elephants.
The open grounds of the Wild Animal Park. The zebras give us a dirty look.
Gene tries to get a good look back at them. Wild and rare mustang-like creatures. I like the stripes on their back legs.
Mommy and baby black rhino. Desert goats, their enclosure mimics their natural setting.
The bison and cows wallow in the watering hole. Is that Nathan smiling?
Bonnie dozes off during the rather peaceful train ride. Juanita smiles for the camera.
Gene smiles too! Wow. There's Tiffany saying hello.
Now it's Joleen's turn. No one escapes this photographer. I take a self-portrait.
Michael cracks up when I insist he smile at the camera. Rusty thinks it's funny too.
One of the gorgeous African ducks. The Pelicans have a stretch and a nap.
The silver back gorilla waits for food to fall from the sky. The most bizarre animal on display, the ocampi.
Huffing and puffing our way out of the African Village, Gene waits for us to catch up to him.

Gene pulls Juanita up the incline. And it was a tough one too!

The beautiful flamingos having fun in the mud. Bonnie feeds a lorikeet.
Wow, nice close up of those vividly colored lorikeets, if I do say so myself. Showdown between Rusty and his lorikeet.
I get my hat and have to show it off. Of course, I probably should have gotten it earlier!
