As of June 1, 2011, Space Station 51 (SS51) has become the headquarters for The Federation's Department of Communications. SS51 serves a few different purposes. First it provides officer level member support when it comes to command documentation and filing of reports. Second, SS51 offers hosting to IFT departments, GEOs and chapters. Third, SS51 is the home of the Diplomatic Corps, Federation Graphics, Internet Operations, VOYAGES and Web Services. Finally, SS51 is a gateway of information to the general public.
The Federation is divided in to three main parts. The main web site can be found at http://www.trekfederation.com/. The community, Trek United, can be found at http://www.trekunited.com/. And then you have SS51 located here.
